I draw caricatures in Boston, Massachusetts at company parties, conventions, business meetings, Bar Mitzvahs, corporate events, private parties, company picnics, lock-ins, college events, wedding receptions, conventions, family reunions, children's birthday parties, you name it!  Caricatures are fun for kids and adults which makes them wonderful entertainment for any event.

Each drawing only takes about five minutes, and the person I draw does not have to sit still.  So yes, I can draw that busy five year old, or that squirmy toddler.  I have my ways!   I talk and kid around with people as I draw them so that they don't feel self-conscious.  I aim to make the whole experience of having a caricature drawn a lot of fun.

I like to make my drawings fast, funny, and flattering, not mean spirited.  After all, I have a funny looking nose, too.  That's why I never look in the mirror sideways.  I just back away slowly from the mirrors in my house, so that I am not frightened by the accidental sighting of my own hideous profile.  So, I understand how sensitive some people can be about their own relatively minor imperfections. 

Caricatures are a great ice breaker for parties.  I always ask people about their interests, and I try to include a little joke in the drawing to personalize each caricature.  The drawings get conversations started.  It's also entertaining for people to watch the artist at work, and to tease their friends while they are being drawn.  That's part of the fun!

In an hour, I can draw fifteen people.  I draw with permanent black marker on heavy paper that measures 8 1/2 by 11 inches.  I provide a clear plastic bag with each drawing, to protect it.

I arrive at all events twenty minutes before they begin, so that I am set up and ready to go before the party starts.  As your guests arrive, I introduce myself and ask if anyone would like their caricature drawn.  Usually after the first two or three drawings are done, I have a line of people waiting.  Then, I am busy drawing for the rest of the event.
